Instructions:
-
Fill your cat’s litter box 2 – 3” with fresh Viable Fiber Ecofriendly Cat Litter.
-
Use a sifting scoop to remove poops every few days or as needed. Poops may be flushed (litter is biodegradable and therefore flushable). If you have any concerns about flushing litter, please dispose of it in your usual manner, Viable Fiber does NOT accept responsibility for clogs or other plumbing issues.
-
Once the litter’s odor control begins to saturate (approximately 10 – 14 days for one adult cat), pour the contents of litter into a separate bio bag/compostable bag), tie it up, and place the sealed bag in your compost.
***PLEASE DO NOT DUMP LOOSE USED LITTER IN YOUR OPEN BUCKET AS IT CAN EXPOSE HUMANS TO ANIMAL WASTE BACTERIA***
-
Refill with fresh litter.
Each 60 oz. bag contains enough litter for approximately two complete fills.
Ecofriendly Cat Litter
Viable Fiber’s Ecofriendly Cat Litter is made from a blend of hemp hurd refined from U.S. grown industrial hemp and waste plant material from Colorado cannabis growers. Hemp is a sustainable resource using less water than similar fiber plants, it also acts as a soil replenisher and carbon sync.
Several natural properties of hemp make it an excellent choice for cat litter. It’s natural, safe, and non- toxic for pets and families. It’s extremely absorbent and offers better odor control than traditional clay litters. It’s lightweight, which makes it easier for carrying and storage compared with alternatives. It’s dust free, minimizing tracking litter out of the box. And it’s 100% biodegradable and compostable.
