PlantPaper is a response to an industry and a hygienic practice in dire need of an update. In the early 20th century, after centuries of wiping with stones, sponges, shirttails and corn cobs, we started using paper made of virgin tree pulp, chlorine, formaldehyde and a host of other toxic chemicals—a scorched earth approach to cleanliness—and haven’t stopped since. After three years of research and development, they arrived at a product they're proud of. Made entirely without trees, zero chlorine or formaldehyde, and requiring only a fraction of the water needed to produce tree paper.
100% Plastic-free packaging. 27,000 trees per day get flushed down the world's toilets. This results in an irreversible loss of animal habitat, destruction of the world's most important carbon sinks, and soil erosion. PlantPaper uses soft, resilient plant pulp that requires less processing and no harsh chemicals or bleach, making it softer on you and the environment. Box set inclues 8 rolls.
